Wet Leg
Wet Leg is an acclaimed English indie rock band from the Isle of Wight, formed by Rhian Teasdale (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Hester Chambers (lead guitar, backing vocals) in 2019, later expanding to include Ellis Durand, Henry Holmes, and Joshua Mobaraki for their second album, moisturizer. They exploded onto the scene with their viral 2021 debut single, "Chaise Longue," and their self-titled debut album in 2022, winning Grammy Awards for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Alternative Music Performance for the single. Known for their witty, post-punk-infused sound, catchy hooks, and fun, relatable lyrics, they quickly became one of the buzziest bands in indie rock, earning critical acclaim and multiple awards.
