
Glen Powell
Glen Thomas Powell Jr., born on October 21, 1988, in Austin, Texas, is an American actor, writer, and producer who has recently ascended to A-list stardom. His career began at age 14 with a minor role in Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003), followed by a decade of supporting work in projects like Scream Queens, Hidden Figures, and Set It Up. His major breakthrough came as the pilot "Hangman" in the 2022 blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick, a performance that led to leading roles in hits such as the romantic comedy Anyone But You (2023), the critically acclaimed Hit Man (2024)—which he also co-wrote and produced—and the action sequel Twisters (2024). Known for his classic leading-man charisma and athletic background as a former all-state lacrosse player, Powell is a licensed pilot and recently moved back to his hometown of Austin to complete his degree at the University of Texas.
