Years after bad boy QB Russ Holliday nuked his college football career, he attempts to walk on to the struggling South Georgia Catfish program disguised as a young man named Chad Powers.
In the cybertruck, Russ Holliday is behind the wheel, proudly touting his new ventures to agent Tyler. As they cruise along, Holliday is all abuzz about making a comeback, fueled by the buzz surrounding his influencer status.
Mike Holliday convinces Russ to focus on his prosthetics business, with Russ reluctantly agreeing. He then hits the road, hauling off makeup gear for delivery.
Chad's first training session
Coach Jake Hudson offers Chad a spot on his team in his office. However, Chad reveals he's not even enrolled yet, prompting Coach Hudson to offer to help with the admissions process. He asks for Chad's ID and transcripts to get started.
E2: 2ND QUARTER (Sep 30, 2025)
Chad struggles to compete for the starting QB job, then struggles even more maintaining his new identity at Coach Hudson's lake house barbecue.
Chad shows up at Coach Hudson's lakehouse BBQ, where teammates mingle poolside. Despite being incognito, he blends in with the group, fitting right in among the fun and games.
In the midst of Hudson's epic water balloon battle, Chad jumps into the action, hurling balloons left and right and earning him a hero's welcome from the crowd. As he takes charge, his teammates rally behind him, cheering on their new leader. The poolside chaos reaches a fever pitch as balloons fly through the air, soaking everyone in their path.

It's the second half of the season opener against Ole Miss and the Catfish are losing. Stuck on the sidelines together, Chad and Ricky team up and try to save the day.

The night before an away game in Knoxville, Russ and Danny must sneak out of the team hotel and go on a dangerous mission behind enemy lines.
As the team bus heads to Knoxville, Coach Hudson zeroes in on Chad Powers, sensing something's up. He asks about his living arrangements with Whiskers and gets a familiar story, Chad claims it's just like being part of the Tougaloo College family from The Blind Side.
Russ and Danny work on transforming into Chad by applying new prosthetics while blasting Phantom of the Opera in the background. The atmosphere takes a sports-focused turn as an announcer introduces the Vols vs. Catfish game, with Chad's road start being highlighted.

On the eve of the biggest game of the season, the truth about Chad Powers threatens to emerge.
Russ (as Chad) is jamming out to "Laffy Taffy" in his sleek Cybertruck while driving a frazzled Coach Hudson. Just as things seem to be cruising along, Ricky intervenes and asks him to hit the brakes.
Sasha is leading her teammates through a spirited dance routine to the tune of "B***h Betta Have My Money" when Danny suddenly barges in, interrupting the practice. Sasha's anger boils over as she quickly stops the music and addresses Danny's sudden appearance.
In a quick move before heading to the Georgia stadium, Russ slips into character by donning prosthetics. The transformation is swift and effective, as he becomes the person he needs to be for the big game. With his new look in place, Russ is ready to take on the day.
