Jonathan Leahy

Jonathan Leahy is an Emmy-nominated music supervisor and BMI award-winning composer based in Los Angeles who has served as a music supervisor at Aperture Music since 2007. His extensive career spans film and television, with notable credits including the series Girls, Mr. Robot, and Swarm, as well as 2025 projects such as Nobody Wants This, Chad Powers, Deli Boys, and Stick. Beyond supervision, Leahy is a live recording engineer and mixer who has worked with artists like Janelle Monáe and Alanis Morissette, and he notably designed and taught the first graduate-level music supervision course at the University of Southern California in 2019. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Guild of Music Supervisors and has been married to Who What Wear co-founder Hillary Kerr since 2016.
