Best of the Best Soundtrack (2026): Every Song

Directed by Lena Khan (Flora & Ulysses) and co-written by acclaimed comedian Hasan Minhaj, Best of the Best (2026) is a vibrant, high-energy Netflix coming-of-age comedy set inside the electrifying and cutthroat world of intercollegiate Bollywood-fusion dance. Never Have I Ever star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan leads the cast as Maya alongside breakout talent Priyanka Kedia as Anjali, two inseparable childhood best friends who arrive at UCLA determined to make their mark. When they earn coveted spots on UCLA Agni—the university’s legendary, fiercely competitive dance troupe—their easygoing friendship is thrust into a pressure cooker of grueling four-hour nocturnal rehearsals, cutthroat choreography battles, and demanding daytime academic schedules. Co-starring Hasan Minhaj, Chaneil Kular, and Ankur Rathee, the film captures the comedic chaos, high-octane stage routines, and emotional growing pains of young South Asian American students navigating ambition, cultural identity, and rivalry on the high-stakes road to the national championships.

Reflecting the explosive multicultural spirit of collegiate Bollywood-fusion dance, the Best of the Best soundtrack delivers an unstoppable sonic collision of global pop chart-toppers, viral hip-hop anthems, and timeless Bollywood classics. Global K-pop icons BLACKPINK ignite the opening moments with their high-powered single "JUMP", setting an immediate adrenaline-fueled tone during an end-of-year talent show. The energy surges further with Hanumankind’s worldwide viral rap sensation "Big Dawgs", Artemas’s synth-pop smash "i like the way you kiss me", and DIVINE and Armani White's hard-hitting Desi hip-hop collaboration "Baazigar". The soundtrack pays deep reverence to Bollywood heritage through legendary needle drops, including Lata Mangeshkar and Kumar Sanu’s quintessential romantic ballad "Tujhe Dekha To" from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Jatin-Lalit’s festive mega-anthem "Bole Chudiyan" from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and Arijit Singh’s infectious dance banger "Ghungroo". Modern club crossovers like Zack Knight’s "Bom Diggy", Labrinth’s moody viral cut "Mount Everest", and Truth Hurts’ nostalgic R&B hit "Addictive" ensure every rehearsal sequence and competition showcase bursts with rhythm.
