SYML is the indie-pop solo project of Seattle-based singer, songwriter, and producer Brian Fennell, known for his emotive, piano-driven sound and breakout hit "Where's My Love". Meaning "simple" in Welsh, the name honors his heritage as an adoptee. Formerly of the band Barcelona, he creates melancholic, raw music exploring grief, identity, and love.
