Bleachers

Bleachers is an American indie pop band formed in 2013 by singer, songwriter, and eleven-time Grammy Award-winning producer Jack Antonoff. Originating in New Jersey, the project began as a secret creative outlet for Antonoff while he was touring with his previous band, Fun. Heavily influenced by 1980s synth-pop and the nostalgic energy of John Hughes films, the group debuted in 2014 with the hit single "I Wanna Get Better" and their critically acclaimed first album, Strange Desire. Originally a solo endeavor supported by touring musicians, Bleachers officially expanded into a full six-piece band in 2023, solidifying longtime touring members Mikey Freedom Hart, Sean Hutchinson, Evan Smith, Michael Riddleberger, and Zem Audu as permanent members. Over the years, they have built a massive global following and a reputation for ecstatic live performances, releasing five major studio albums, including their self-titled record in 2024 and everyone for ten minutes in 2026.
