In 2015, Navy SEAL Chief Ben Edwards and Charlie Platoon wrap up their Mosul deployment, handing operations over to James Reece's Alpha Platoon. Before heading home, Ben and his team track an ISIS leader who targeted his IF interpreter-only to discover the terrorist has powerful, unexpected connections.
In this pivotal training mission, the SEALs work to whip the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) into shape, focusing on discipline and efficiency. Haverford's capture/kill of Danawi reveals a new lead—who was he meeting and why? Tracking his money, Ben and Raife team up with unexpected allies, forming a 'sanction team' that soon faces a far greater threat than anticipated.
The episode kicks off with a tour of Ben's pad, giving us a glimpse into his everyday life. We see his messy apartment, complete with guitars and memorabilia scattered about. This intro sets the tone for what's to come in this new installment.

Raife sits down with Haverford after uncovering some intel about his CIA father's operation on the latter. Raife wants to know if he can trust Haverford, and the voice reveals that the spy is a seasoned pro with strong motivation. The conversation also touches on Haverford's role in running "The Shepherd," a high-level asset in Tehran.
As the team prepares for their mission, tensions rise when Raife expresses his doubts and concerns. Ben confronts him while he's chopping wood, with Raife accusing Ben of losing sight of their values and questioning Eliza's trustworthiness.

After realizing Haverford played him dirty with the Iranians, Ben takes drastic measures, leading to one of the series' most intense moments. In a shocking turn of events, a private jet is riddled with bullets, leaving everyone on board dead. As the aftermath unfolds, Ben must physically take control from the Iranians to ensure the job gets done.
