Seth and Mila are cozied up in his dorm room, getting comfortable under the covers. But just as things are heating up, Seth's world goes dark, literally, as he suddenly loses his sight in a jarring moment that leaves both characters reeling.
As the workday wraps up, Jake and Amy confirm their boundaries with each other. Then, their coworkers convince them to join the gang at a local bar for some well-deserved unwinding.
Sonya takes a seat next to Amy at the bar and gets straight to the point, questioning Amy about her true feelings for Jake. The tension is palpable as Amy tries to downplay her emotions, but Sonya isn't buying it.

A popular weight loss drug reveals the cracks in a couples' relationship. Two sisters face an unexpected diagnosis.

Amy treats a Chaplain who helps her reconcile with the past, while Michael is under investigation for his actions during the hostage crisis. Also, TJ returns to work and treats a prisoner and Hannah's brother shows up with a plan.
Amy and Katie pay their respects at Danny's grave, breaking down in tears together. Later, Jake's date is interrupted by a surprise text from Amy, while Hannah gets access to a laptop using Amy's login credentials via a sneaky USB drive insertion.

As Jake rushes through the bustling hospital corridors, he finally arrives at his destination.
