Ulrich checks his messages on the road, ignoring his wife's call, as the Nielsen family struggles with Mikkel's vanishing act.
Lights start flashing, dead birds show up, and someone posts a cryptic message wondering when Mikkel will disappear.
E3: Past and Present (Dec 1, 2017)
It's 1986, and Ulrich's brother, Mads, has been missing for a month. Confusion reigns as past and present intertwine.
Claudia rehearses a speech in the car, griping to Regina about personal habits before Mikkel shows up at school.
In 1986, Chief Inspector Tiedemann walked into the Nielsen house, catching Ulrich gaming while loud music filled the air.
Tiedemann stops by to see what's up with the doc doing an autopsy on a recently deceased sheep.
Ines shows up to visit Mikkel at the hospital only to find him missing, then flashbacks reveal his journey.
E4: Double Lives (Dec 1, 2017)
Bizarre occurrences give Charlotte a sense of déjà vu, and she suspects Peter is hiding something. Franziska snaps when Magnus confronts her.
Cops head into the woods to find Elisabeth, while Ulrich gets home, Franziska catches her parents in a tough spot, and Helge heads towards some police.
E5: Truths (Dec 1, 2017)
Hannah takes her obsession with Ulrich too far. The stranger asks Regina to deliver an important package. Martha is torn between Jonas and Bartosz.
Ulrich gets busted in '86 for allegedly messing with Katharina, and we see flashbacks & present-day scenes.
E6: Sic Mundus Creatus Est (Dec 1, 2017)
Ulrich looks to the past for answers and dredges up disturbing family secrets. Armed with new tools, Jonas probes the cave's murky depths.
Regina suggests Katharina share old stories with her kids, while Ulrich flips through photos, Jonas heads deeper into the cave, and Aleksander comforts Regina.
E7: Crossroads (Dec 1, 2017)
Ulrich questions a frail and frightened Helge in the nursing home. Jonas searches for Mikkel, but the stranger warns him about meddling with the past.
In 1986, Jonas stumbles upon Regina jamming out to tunes in the school hallway.
Helge hops in his car, snags a candy bar, and hits the road while Chief Tiedemann grills Katharina about some serious allegations.

In 1953, the disfigured bodies of two boys are exhumed at a construction site, the future location of Winden's nuclear power plant.
Helge pedals home on his bike, gets scolded by mom for his dirty clothes, then spills to dad about dead kids at the construction site.
Egon heads to the Doppler's place to ask Helge's mom if they're housing his pup, Gretchen.
Doris and Agnes change the sheets while waiting for their friends, Gretchen and Claudia, to get home.
E9: Everything Is Now (Dec 1, 2017)
Ulrich runs afoul of the law, Helge tries to dodge Egon Tiedemann, Claudia harnesses the cave's powers, and Katharina lashes out at Hannah.
In 1986, Aleksander builds a new entrance for Claudia's cave hangout, while in 2019, chaos erupts when the Stranger messes with toxic waste barrels.
E10: Alpha and Omega (Dec 1, 2017)
Peter gets a shock. Jonas learns the truth about his family, but there are more surprises still to come. Helge makes a sacrifice.
Helge takes off when the light turns green, but gets slammed by another car in a sudden collision.
The Stranger turns on his thingy, a wormhole pops up, and we see some folks from different eras getting cozy.
Helge took in his new digs, getting a sense of the place.
