As the two Zip Parcel blimp pilots navigate above Cal-M Stadium during a game, they take a break from their aerial duties to swap stories about their personal lives. Over the roar of the crowd and the hum of the blimp's engines, they share laughs and insights with each other.
At home, Buck whips up Bobby's famous lasagna for Eddie and Christopher as they play Boogle. As he works, Buck can't help but bring up his concerns about being overlooked while Eddie takes on interim captain duties during his vacation. Meanwhile, Christopher starts poking fun at Buck's lack of a couch six months in - an issue that's clearly been bothering him.

E2: Crash & Learn (Sep 26, 2022)
The 118 race to the rescue when a structure collapse at a "happiness convention" traps people under rubble. While on FaceTime with her mom, Athena's father suffers a stroke and crashes through the wall of his house. Hen stretches herself too thin with test prep and her new responsibilities at the 118, while Maddie tries to help new recruit get his bearings at the call center.
Benjamin tries to troubleshoot why his backyard garden is sagging, with his wife Holly looking on.
In this steamy flashback, Holly and Gary take their romance to the next level by building a secret passageway, dubbed "the love tunnel", under Gary's garden and between their homes. As they use it to sneak around Benjamin and keep their affair hidden, things start to get explosive.
Hen struggling to balance her demanding job, academic pursuits, and personal life. As she navigates these multiple responsibilities, we get a glimpse into the daily juggling act that's keeping her on her toes.
Hen and Buck spring into action to save Nathan's life. With Hen on the phone and Buck performing CPR, they work together to keep Nathan alive as the team rushes to extract him from the rubble. As they wheel out the injured friends, including Nathan, the scene becomes a desperate bid for survival.

E3: The Devil You Know (Oct 3, 2022)
While in Florida caring for her ailing father, Athena and Bobby investigate the disappearance of her childhood friend from 45 years ago.
In this flashback sequence, we're taken back to the Carter family home in Belleville, Florida during the 1970s. As Athena tries to prolong the night by helping her mom with the dishes, her mother reluctantly agrees to let her stay up late, all for one reason: to catch a glimpse of her dad walking through the door.
In this flashback, Joanne sneaks out of the house to attend a late-night party in the woods, where she runs into Tanya. As the night wears on, Tanya convinces Joanne to let her have a beer and join the party for real, and the two friends get lost in the woods as the music plays.
Athena finally apprehends Tanya's long-sought killer, a case that had gone cold for nearly five decades. The arrest brings closure to the decades-old mystery.
Athena has a heartwarming reunion with her dad, which is preceded by a flash-forward to her earlier interactions with Samuel and Beatrice.
E4: Animal Instincts (Oct 10, 2022)
The 118 race to the rescue when a birdwatcher is trapped under a tree. Chimney is in for a wild ride when he tends to a drunk driver; Maddie helps a mother and her young daughter when an abusive father shows up at the their house; Eddie catches Christopher in a lie; Buck begins a year of "yes to possibilities" and immediately receives an interesting proposal from a former roommate.
As the drunk driver regains consciousness, he hails a ride from Chimney, who tries to tend to his wounds while they speed away. Buck jumps on the bike to give chase, but things quickly escalate as police join the pursuit. The drama unfolds as Chimney tries to reason with the driver, eventually coaxing him to stop and head to the hospital for treatment before facing justice.
Alone at home, Hen tries to distract herself from her emptiness by tackling some household tasks.
E5: Home Invasion (Oct 17, 2022)
Athena investigates when the same house is hit with two home invasion 9-1-1 calls within hours of each other. The 118 race to the rescue when a D-I-Y home renovation traps a man in an attic. Hen asks for a second chance with her medical school professor. Maddie and Chimney regret hiring a nanny for Jee-Yun after the woman completely takes over their apartment.
In the attic of the sisters house, Vincent is wrapping up an installation job when disaster strikes, an unexpected accident occurs while he's working on the insulation. Suddenly, everything comes to a halt as Vincent deals with the consequences of his mishap.
Athena and Bobby host a celebration at their place to mark Hen's graduation milestone, with friends and family gathering to show their support and cheer her on after passing her final medical exams. The party atmosphere is filled with laughter and good vibes as everyone comes together to congratulate Hen on this significant achievement.
E6: Tomorrow (Oct 24, 2022)
Hen fears for Karen's life when an explosion rocks her science lab on the day she brings Denny to work with her.
In 2010 Los Angeles, Karen shows up for a date with Hen, making it clear she's got a tight schedule and wants to make a strong impression within a limited timeframe.
Karen gives Denny the grand tour of OPAAL, where she works. She introduces him to the team, giving us a glimpse into her daily routine.

Athena and the 118 race to the rescue when a fading movie star is plagued by a series of near-death experiences.
In this intense moment, actress Felisa Valdez is joined by her assistant Alexis as they open up a mysterious gift, a bracelet. But just as she slips it on, disaster strikes and tragedy unfolds.
Buck reveals to Hen that he's been practicing abstinence in preparation for a sperm donation to Connor and Kameron. However, things don't go as planned as Buck finds himself extending his dry spell to four weeks due to a string of mishaps at the donor clinic during his visits.
After his car breaks down, Buck makes a quick trip to the clinic to fulfill his promise and donate sperm to his friends. He's handed the necessary materials and taken to a private area for the procedure.

The 118 race to the rescue at a renaissance faire, then an office building when an overbearing boss is poisoned. Athena fears for May's life when she encounters a disturbed young man. Buck babysits Jee-Yun as Maddie and Chimney begin house-hunting. Eddie and Carla prepare Christopher for his first school dance.

The Santa Ana winds bring in a variety of weirder-than-usual emergencies as the 118 respond to a family dog retrieving a severed hand and a young woman sleep-driving into the station. Bobby worries about his AA sponsor. Denny questions Hen and Karen about his biological parents. Chimney thinks he's found the perfect house for him and Maddie.
The 118 emergency responders fan out across the neighborhood, knocking on doors and asking questions in their desperate search for the missing victim. A twist comes when a curious canine returns with the gruesome discovery, a severed hand that sparks a new lead in the investigation.
As Bobby opens up about the Santa Ana winds, Denny heads to Nathaniel's place to confront him about paternity. Meanwhile, Bobby pays his respects at Wendell's death site by placing a cross, while the rest of the gang, Eddie, Buck, Chimney, Maddie, Hen, and Karen, all catch some Z's at home after a long day.

A dry thunderstorm rolls over LA, bringing in a series of lightning strike emergencies for the 118 and leaves a first responder's life hanging in the balance. Maddie dreads her parents visit to her and Chimney's new and unfinished house, while Chimney get a surprise of his own from a visiting Albert.
