
Steve Griffen
Steve Griffen is an accomplished American music supervisor and editor with over 20 years of experience in the Los Angeles entertainment industry. A graduate of Cal State Northridge in music performance, he began his career at Digidesign during the development of Pro Tools before transitioning into music editorial and production for artists such as Avril Lavigne and Gavin DeGraw. Griffen eventually focused on film and television, earning six Primetime Emmy nominations (with one win) for his extensive work on high-profile projects. His notable credits include serving as music supervisor or editor for series like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, A Real Bug’s Life (2024–2025), and What We Do in the Shadows, as well as films such as Hot Tub Time Machine 2 and We Are Marshall. As of January 2026, he remains active in the industry, with recent and upcoming roles on the series English Teacher and Ponies.
