Born in England in 1966, Rupert Gregson-Williams is an award-winning composer and conductor renowned for his versatile scores across film, television, and video games. A former choir scholar at St John’s College, Cambridge, he began his professional career as a member of Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions team, contributing to early projects like The Lion King. He gained critical acclaim for his work on the Oscar-winning Hotel Rwanda (2004), for which he received the European Film Award for Best Composer, and has since scored major blockbusters including Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Hacksaw Ridge. Gregson-Williams is also a frequent collaborator of Adam Sandler, providing the music for nearly two dozen Happy Madison Productions, while his television work on The Crown and Veep has earned him multiple Primetime Emmy nominations.
