Kleber Mendonça Filho

Kleber Mendonça Filho (born November 22, 1968, in Recife, Brazil) is a critically acclaimed Brazilian film director, screenwriter, and producer known for exploring the social and political fabric of Brazil. Formerly a film critic and programmer, he gained international recognition with Neighboring Sounds (2012). His notable works, including Aquarius (2016) and Bacurau (2019), often explore class, power, and history, winning prestigious awards at the Cannes Film Festival.
