Isobel Waller-Bridge
Isobel Noeline Waller-Bridge (born April 23, 1984) is an award-winning English composer and musician celebrated for her versatile work across film, television, theatre, and contemporary classical music. Educated at the University of Edinburgh and King’s College London—where she studied under George Benjamin—she also held a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music. She is best known for her eclectic scores that blend orchestral arrangements with electronic and experimental sound design, notably for the series Fleabag (created by her sister, Phoebe Waller-Bridge), Black Mirror, and Sweetpea, as well as feature films like Emma (2020), Munich: The Edge of War, and the Oscar-nominated short The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. Beyond the screen, her career includes commissions for the Philharmonia Orchestra, the American Ballet Theatre, and fashion houses such as Alexander McQueen, alongside solo album releases like Music for Strings (2015) and Objects (2025).
