
Dara Taylor
Dara Taylor is a American film and television composer based in Los Angeles, known for her versatile scores spanning comedy, thriller, and drama. Raised in Lockport, New York, she began her musical journey in gospel choirs and school bands before earning a degree in Music and Psychology from Cornell University and a Master of Music in Film Composition from New York University. A frequent collaborator with composer Christopher Lennertz, she contributed to major productions like Bad Moms, Sausage Party, and The Boys before transitioning to lead scoring for projects such as The Invitation, The Tender Bar, and the Marvel series Ironheart. Her work has earned significant industry recognition, including a Hollywood Music in Media Award (HMMA) for the film Colewell in 2019 and a Sundance Institute Composers Lab fellowship.
