Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans are an acclaimed, award-winning film and television composing duo known for their bold, unpredictable, and unique scores, blending modern classical, electronic, and avant-garde styles to create visceral soundscapes for over 100 projects like Ozark, The Gift, Enemy, and Fear the Walking Dead. Originally members of the prog-rock band Priestbird, they transitioned to scoring after meeting at art school in Rhode Island, leveraging their deep musical backgrounds, including Bensi's classical cello training and Jurriaans's rock roots, to craft distinctive, texture-rich compositions.
