Catherine Grimes is a highly experienced Belfast-based music supervisor and rights consultant with a career spanning over 30 years in the broadcast media industry. Before founding her independent company, CG Music, in 2021, she spent nearly 15 years at the BBC, where she led the award-winning Music Rights Team and served as the Manager of Music Use Strategy for BBC Studios. Her extensive portfolio features high-profile television series, including the BAFTA-winning drama Blue Lights, as well as Good Omens, Happy Valley, Trying, and Everyone Else Burns. Entering 2026, her recent and upcoming projects include Mammoth, Trespasses, Lazarus, and How to Get to Heaven from Belfast. In addition to her creative curation and rights negotiation work, she provides specialized music business affairs training for production staff across the UK, Ireland, and beyond.
