Rosebush Pruning Soundtrack (2026): Every Song & Scene Description
In a Spanish villa, American siblings Jack, Ed, Anna and Robert wallow in isolation and their inherited fortune. When Jack wants to move in with his girlfriend and Ed uncovers the truth about their mother’s death, the fabric of the family begins to unravel.
Directed by Karim Aïnouz, the 2026 dark comedy thriller Rosebush Pruning follows four wealthy American siblings—played by Callum Turner, Riley Keough, Jamie Bell, and Lukas Gage—wallowing in isolation at a secluded Spanish villa. As family secrets surface following their mother’s (Pamela Anderson) death, the film's soundtrack reinforces the story's tense, decadent atmosphere with avant-garde electronic grooves, synth-pop, and classical compositions.
The movie features an original score by renowned electronic composer Matthew Herbert, whose haunting instrumental cues highlight the siblings' psychological unraveling. The soundtrack also incorporates iconic synth-pop and club cuts, most notably Pet Shop Boys’ 'Paninaro' and Doctor Rockit’s 'Café De Flore'.

Framing the film's dark, satirical tone, the tracklist balances traditional European vocal pieces—such as Coros Cantores de Madrid's 'Seguidillas' and Giannis Poulopoulos' 'Epefte Vathia Siopi', with Dave Clarke’s techno track 'What Was Her Name?' during the end credits.
