Primetime Soundtrack (2026): Every Song

Directed by Lance Oppenheim and produced by A24, Primetime dramatizes the frantic 2006 launch of television's most notorious hidden-camera sting operation. Robert Pattinson leads the ensemble as investigative anchor Chris Hansen, surrounded by a cast that includes Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Bokeem Woodbine, and singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers in a featured role. Under the supervision of Jemma Burns and driven by an intense instrumental score by Ari Balouzian, the film explores the fine line between investigative crusading, tabloid sensationalism, and television ratings obsession.

Mid-2000s radio hits and stark original recordings collide across the soundtrack to anchor the story in its 2006 setting. A major centerpiece is "On Video," a haunting track written and recorded specifically for the film by co-star Phoebe Bridgers. The soundtrack also captures the era's pop culture energy with Fergie's chart-topping anthem "London Bridge" and Counting Crows' "Miami," contrasted with an in-universe rendition of "Seasons of Love" from Rent sung by Skyler Gisondo and classical selections like Scarlatti's "Sonata In D Minor."
