Directed by Vicky Jewson and premiering at SXSW 2026 before hitting Prime Video on March 25, Pretty Lethal (formerly Ballerina Overdrive) is an action-thriller following a troupe of American ballerinas whose bus breaks down in a remote forest en route to a prestigious competition. Stranded and barely on speaking terms, the five dancers, starring Maddie Ziegler, Lana Condor, Iris Apatow, Avantika, and Millicent Simmonds, are forced to seek shelter at a sinister, isolated inn managed by a reclusive former ballet prodigy, played by Uma Thurman. When their stay turns deadly, the dancers must set aside their rivalries to weaponize their years of intense training, turning grace, discipline, and pointe shoes into tools for survival to escape the dangerous lair.
