Heart of the Beast Soundtrack (2026): Every Song

Directed by David Ayer, the 2026 survival thriller Heart of the Beast plunges audiences into an unrelenting battle against the brutal elements of the Alaskan wilderness. The film stars Brad Pitt as James Belmont, a retired Army Special Forces veteran who, accompanied by his combat dog Odin, must endure a punishing 58-mile trek across frozen, predator-infested territory following a catastrophic plane crash. Combining raw wilderness survival with intense psychological drama, the production is driven by an atmospheric soundscape composed by Jared Michael Fry that underscores both the isolation of the Arctic landscape and the deep combat trauma carried by its protagonist.

Composer Jared Michael Fry shapes the film's relentless suspense through a gripping original score that balances primal fear with tactical momentum. Evocative cues like 'There’s Got To Be Something', 'That Thing Is A Beast', and 'A Very Dangerous Place' heighten the immediate terror of lurking apex predators in the wild, while tracks such as 'You Have One Shot', 'Is Anybody Still Alive?', and 'In His Territory Now' mirror Belmont’s survival instincts and military precision. Meanwhile, compositions like 'Stay In The Car' build quiet emotional vulnerability, illustrating the protective bond between man and dog amidst extreme adversity.
