Death at Camp Miasma Soundtrack (2026): All Songs & Scene Music Guide
After years of slapdash sequels and waning fandom, the Camp Miasma slasher franchise is handed over to an enthusiastic young director for resurrection. But when she visits the original's star, a now-reclusive actress shrouded in mystery, the two women fall into a blood-soaked world of desire, fear, and delirium.
Jane Schoenbrun’s 2026 meta-slasher dramedy Death at Camp Miasma marries psychological horror with a haunting, indie-infused soundtrack. Scored by musician Alex G, the soundtrack enhances the film’s surreal voyage as a young director (Hannah Einbinder) attempts to reboot a dormant slasher franchise alongside its reclusive original star (Gillian Anderson).
The film’s uncanny atmosphere is anchored by Alex G’s original composition 'Pain is the Heart of Love,' featured prominently in the trailer. The licensed tracklist leans into nostalgic 90s alternative and dream-pop, highlighted by Sade’s sensual classic 'No Ordinary Love,' R.E.M.’s 'Supernatural Superserious,' and Donna Lewis’s 'I Love You Always Forever'.
