Zoë Keating
Zoë Keating (born 1972) is a Canadian-born cellist, composer, and pioneer of live-looping technology based in San Francisco, known for her "one-woman orchestra" sound. She gained prominence through a DIY approach, releasing self-produced albums that reached the top of iTunes classical charts. Merging classical training with her background as an information architect, she uses a cello, laptop, and foot controllers to create complex, layered compositions.
