Young Thug

Young Thug (born Jeffery Lamar Williams II; 1991) is a highly influential American rapper and fashion icon from Atlanta, Georgia, widely regarded as a pioneer of modern trap and the "mumble rap" microgenre. He rose to prominence in 2013 after signing with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records and releasing the critically acclaimed mixtape 1017 Thug, followed by mainstream hits like "Stoner" and "Lifestyle". Known for his eccentric, high-pitched vocal delivery and gender-fluid style, he founded the YSL (Young Stoner Life) collective, mentoring stars such as Gunna and Lil Baby while achieving multiple #1 albums, including So Much Fun (2019) and Punk (2021). His career faced a major turning point in 2022 when he was arrested on RICO racketeering charges; however, after the longest criminal trial in Georgia's history, he was released in October 2024 after taking a plea deal that resulted in time served and 15 years of probation,
