
Wanda Jackson
Wanda Jackson (born October 20, 1937) is an American singer known as the "Queen of Rockabilly," who pioneered roles for women in country, rock, and gospel. Discovered by Hank Thompson at age 17, she toured with Elvis Presley in the 1950s, creating hits like "Let's Have a Party" and "Fujiyama Mama". Jackson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009 and retired in 2019.
