Formed in Los Angeles in 1977 by renowned session musicians David Paich, Jeff Porcaro, Steve Lukather, Steve Porcaro, Bobby Kimball, and David Hungate, Toto is an American rock band renowned for blending pop, rock, soul, funk, and jazz. Their 1982 album Toto IV brought massive success with hits "Africa" and "Rosanna," earning multiple Grammys, including Album of the Year. Despite various lineup changes and the tragic 1992 death of drummer Jeff Porcaro, the band has sold over 50 million records and continues to tour.
