
The Spinners
Formed in Detroit in 1954, The Spinners became legends of R&B, soul, and Philly sound, known for smooth harmonies and hits like "I'll Be Around" and "The Rubberband Man". After struggling at Motown, they found massive 1970s success with producer Thom Bell at Atlantic Records, earning multiple Grammys and Hall of Fame inductions.
