The Muffs
The Muffs were a beloved American pop-punk band formed in Los Angeles in 1991, fronted by the dynamic singer-songwriter Kim Shattuck, known for their catchy, melodic punk with a raw edge, gaining traction with hits like "Everywhere I Go" and their popular cover of "Kids in America" for the movie Clueless. After several albums and lineup changes, including Shattuck's brief stint with the Pixies, they reunited for more music before disbanding in 2019 with Shattuck's passing from ALS, shortly after recording their final album, No Holiday.
