
The Impalas
The Impalas were a Brooklyn-based, racially integrated doo-wop group formed in 1958, best known for their 1959 smash hit "Sorry (I Ran All the Way Home)". Consisting of Black lead singer Joe "Speedo" Frazier and three white members, they briefly rose to fame via Cub Records before disbanding in 1961.
