The Beaches
The Beaches are a critically acclaimed Canadian rock band formed in Toronto in 2013, consisting of sisters Jordan Miller (lead vocals, bass) and Kylie Miller (guitar), along with Leandra Earl (keyboards, guitar) and Eliza Enman-McDaniel (drums). Originating from the pop-punk group Done with Dolls, the quartet rebranded with a more mature, alternative rock sound inspired by their upbringing in Toronto’s Beach neighbourhood. After releasing early EPs and signing with Universal Music Canada, they gained significant traction with their 2017 debut album Late Show and the chart-topping single "T-Shirt," winning the 2018 Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year. Known for their high-energy performances and anthemic sound, the band has opened for rock legends like The Rolling Stones and Foo Fighters, while achieving further success with their 2023 album Blame My Ex—featuring the viral hit "Blame Brett"—and winning consecutive Juno Awards for Group of the Year in 2024 and 2025.
