The Art Attacks
The Art Attacks were a short-lived but influential English punk band (1977-1978) formed by Royal College of Art students Edwin Pouncey (Savage Pencil) and Steve Spear, known for their intelligent, fun lyrics, iconic singles like "I Am a Dalek," and featuring notable musicians like Robert Gotobed (Wire) and Rick Slaughter (The Motors) at different times. They were part of the vibrant London punk scene, playing venues like The Marquee and Vortex, leaving a small but memorable discography on compilations and posthumous releases.
