t.A.T.u. (Тату) was a globally successful Russian pop duo formed in 1999 by manager Ivan Shapovalov, consisting of Lena Katina and Julia Volkova. They gained international fame with their 2002 hit "All the Things She Said" and the album 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane, known for their schoolgirl uniforms and controversial, edgy persona.
