Survivor
Formed in Chicago in 1978 by Jim Peterik and Frankie Sullivan, Survivor is an American rock band best known for their 1982 smash hit "Eye of the Tiger," the theme for Rocky III. They achieved major 1980s success with melodic rock anthems like "Burning Heart," "The Search Is Over," and "High on You". Despite lineup changes and a shift to vocalist Jimi Jamison in 1984, the band remains an iconic 80s arena rock staple.
