Soul Clan
The Soul Clan was a legendary 1960s American soul music "supergroup," a collective of iconic singers led by Solomon Burke, including Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Don Covay, and Joe Tex, later joined by Arthur Conley and Ben E. King. Formed in 1966 with goals of Black economic empowerment and music industry reform, they released the single "Soul Meeting" before disbanding, though they briefly reunited in 1981.
