Skunk Anansie

Skunk Anansie is a powerful British rock band formed in London in 1994, known for their mix of hard rock, metal, and Britpop, fronted by the charismatic, bald, black lead singer Skin (Deborah Dyer). They gained fame with hits like "Weak" and "Selling Jesus," representing a diverse, outspoken alternative to Britpop's dominant scene before disbanding in 2001 and reforming in 2009. The band, also featuring Ace (guitar), Cass (bass), and Mark Richardson (drums), sold millions of records and became icons for their blend of powerful music, political themes, and unique identity.
