Sixpence None the Richer
Formed in the early '90s in Texas by guitarist Matt Slocum and vocalist Leigh Nash, Christian pop-rock band Sixpence None the Richer gained global fame with their 1997 self-titled album and massive 1999 hit "Kiss Me," blending melodic alternative rock with C.S. Lewis-inspired depth. Known for "Kiss Me," "There She Goes," and covers, they remain iconic for their jangly sound.
