Sigur Rós
Sigur Rós is a renowned Icelandic post-rock band formed in 1994 in Reykjavík, famous for their ethereal sound, bowed guitar, and frontman Jónsi Birgisson's haunting falsetto vocals. Blending ambient, classical, and minimalist elements, they gained global fame with the 1999 album Ágætis byrjun. Their music often features made-up "Hopelandic" lyrics.
