
Sam Clines
Sam Clines is an multi-genre songwriter, producer, and mix engineer based in Brighton, United Kingdom. He first gained national recognition in 2016 by winning the Open Mic UK competition at the NEC Birmingham, beating over 10,000 applicants with his original song "Learn To Love". A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Clines began playing piano at age seven and later mastered the guitar and drums, often performing as a solo act using a signature live setup that includes a kick-bass drum pedal. He is the co-founder of South Lanes Studios in Brighton, where he has produced and written music for major networks and labels including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Sony, with his work even being featured on shows like Love Island. In addition to his commercial sync and production work, Clines has released his own electronic-soul influenced projects, such as the EP Sharks, and continues to develop emerging artists.
