Run-DMC is one of the most influential hip-hop groups of all time, leaving an indelible mark on the music industry. Founded in 1983 by Joseph "Rev Run" Simmons, Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels, and Jason "Jam-Master Jay" Mizell, the trio's signature sound blended energetic beats, witty lyrics, and a unique blend of rock, funk, and hip-hop elements. Their debut album, "Run-DMC," released in 1984, was a groundbreaking success, featuring hits like "It's Tricky" and "Walk This Way" (feat. Aerosmith).
