Rodes Rollins
Rodes Rollins, born Talia Leah Taxman in Boulder, Colorado, is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter known for her signature blend of "cowboy poetry"—a mixture of Americana, psychedelic rock, and pop. After a childhood spent making music and a period living in Buenos Aires, she transitioned from treating music as a hobby to a career while studying Cultural Iconography at NYU’s Gallatin School. She made her professional debut in 2017 with the EP Young Adult, featuring collaborations with Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint and production by Alex Goose. Her music, often characterized by "spaghetti western" influences and haunting vocals, has been featured on television shows like Riverdale and earned praise from Billboard for its nostalgic sound. Her recent work, including the EP Human Error (2023), continues to explore themes of transience and human vulnerability.
