Rita Ora (born Rita Sahatçiu in 1990 in Pristina, Kosovo) is a prominent British singer, songwriter, and actress who moved to London as a toddler. Rising to fame after signing with Jay-Z's Roc Nation in 2009, she topped the UK charts with her 2012 debut Ora and broke records for most top-ten singles by a British female. Known for hits like "How We Do (Party)" and collaborations, she has also appeared in Fifty Shades of Grey, judged on The X Factor and The Voice UK, and acts as a UNICEF ambassador.
