Plàsi

Plàsi, the moniker of Stockholm-based, Greek-Swedish singer-songwriter Mikael Bitzarakis, is a rising force in modern acoustic indie-folk known for his intimate, honest, and reflective songwriting. After taking a break from music to focus on university, Bitzarakis returned to songwriting as a creative outlet, debuting with the single "Who Are We" in 2016 and later releasing the acclaimed albums People (2018) and Foreign Sea (2022). His music is characterized by gentle, warm acoustic melodies and lyrics that explore, love, nature, and personal relationships, often incorporating his Greek heritage into the harmonies. Working with producers Hannes and Linus Hasselberg, Plàsi has built a dedicated following with his soothing, "unpolished" sound, often compared to artists like José González.
