Peaches, stage name for Canadian-born Merrill Nisker (b. 1966), is a pioneering electroclash musician, producer, and performance artist known for her sexually explicit lyrics, gender-bending persona, and DIY electronic style. Rising to fame with 2000's The Teaches of Peaches, she broke barriers in LGBTQIA+ representation, art, and pop culture.
