Paul Thomas Saunders
Paul Thomas Saunders is a British singer-songwriter and producer born in Leicester in 1990, widely recognized for his emotive, high-register vocals and atmospheric indie-folk soundscapes. He first gained prominence while based in Leeds, releasing several EPs before his critically acclaimed debut album, Beautiful Desolation, was released by Atlantic Records in 2014. Following a period of disillusionment with the music industry, Saunders took an extended hiatus to serve as a National Health Service (NHS) paramedic and lifeboat crew member. He eventually returned to music after receiving an invitation from Justin Vernon of Bon Iver to perform at the Forbidden Fruit Festival, which inspired him to self-produce his second full-length album, Figure in a Landscape (2022).
