
Michael Kiwanuka
Michael Kiwanuka, born in 1987 in London to Ugandan parents, is a critically acclaimed British singer-songwriter known for his soulful, retro-folk, and rock-infused sound. Rising from session guitarist to stardom after winning BBC’s Sound of 2012, he achieved chart success with Home Again and won the 2020 Mercury Prize for Kiwanuka.
