Meghan Elizabeth Trainor (born December 22, 1993) is an American singer-songwriter and producer known for her retro-style pop hits, starting with her 2014 breakout smash "All About That Bass". Born in Nantucket, Massachusetts, she began writing music at 11 and signed a publishing deal at 18. She won a Grammy for Best New Artist in 2016.
