La Femme

Formed in Biarritz in 2010 by Sacha Got and Marlon Magnée, La Femme is an acclaimed French psych-punk and synth-pop collective celebrated for their "psycho-tropical" sound that blends 60s surf-rock, cold wave, and yé-yé pop. They rose to prominence with their gold-certified debut album Psycho Tropical Berlin (2013) and have since maintained a shapeshifting identity through linguistically diverse projects, including the Spanish-language Teatro Lúcido (2022) and their first full English-language album, Rock Machine, released in October 2024. Known for a fluid lineup that has included vocalists like Clara Luciani and Clémence Quélennec, the group’s core remains rooted in Magnée and Got's DIY ethos and vintage aesthetic. As of early 2026, the band is currently on their global "Rock Machine Tour". While the collective remains active, co-founder Marlon Magnée is also debuting a solo chapter with his first album, Dark Star, scheduled for release on March 6, 2026, followed by a solo world tour.
