Born in Edinburgh in 1975 and raised in St Andrews, Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall shot to fame after a breakout 2004 Later... with Jools Holland performance of "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree". Known for her folk-pop style and live looping, her debut Eye to the Telescope sparked hits like "Suddenly I See," earning her BRIT and Ivor Novello awards and a Grammy nod.
