Kiki Dee (born Pauline Matthews in Bradford, England, 1947) is an English singer known for her "blue-eyed soul" vocals, starting as a session singer for Dusty Springfield before becoming the first UK female artist signed to Motown's Tamla Records. Her career highlights include the 1974 hit "I've Got the Music in Me," and her iconic 1976 #1 duet with Elton John, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart," followed by "True Love" in 1993, cementing her status as a beloved, enduring artist who continues to perform.
